IAEB Delegation Visits Universitas Sains Islam Malaysia to Discuss EduTour Camp Program

Created at 04 Dec 2024

Malaysia, 2024 – The leadership of the International Association of Economic and Business (IAEB) recently conducted an official visit to Universitas Sains Islam Malaysia (USIM) to engage in discussions regarding the EduTour Camp program. This program aims to provide valuable opportunities for visiting students, internships with companies, and community service (KKN).

The IAEB delegation was warmly received by USIM's academic leadership, where the two parties explored the potential for collaboration on these key programs. The EduTour Camp is designed to offer students a comprehensive learning experience by combining academic exchange, professional internships, and hands-on community engagement, enabling them to apply their knowledge in real-world contexts.

Prof. Ts. Dr. Shafinar Ismail, President of IAEB, expressed her enthusiasm for the initiative, highlighting the importance of providing students with exposure to both academic environments and professional industries. β€œThe EduTour Camp program represents a unique opportunity to bridge the gap between theoretical learning and practical experience, which is crucial for the development of well-rounded graduates,” she stated.

The leadership of USIM also expressed interest in collaborating with IAEB to expand the scope of the EduTour Camp, including the possibility of involving universities across Malaysia and Indonesia. Discussions included integrating research opportunities, internships in various sectors, and potential joint community service projects.

Both institutions agreed on the mutual benefits of this collaboration, which is expected to enhance the educational experience for students while contributing to societal development through community engagement initiatives. The visit concluded with a commitment to formalize the partnership and launch the first EduTour Camp in the near future.
