Jakarta, July 30-31, 2024 – The President of the
International Association of Economic and Business (IAEB), Prof. Ts. Dr.
Shafinar Ismail, was a keynote speaker at a Scopus Article Writing
Workshop organized by the Research and Community Service Institute (LPPM)
of Universitas Cendikia Abditama. The event also featured Prof. Dr. Murniati
Mukhlisin from IAI Tazkia Bogor as a co-speaker, attracting participants
from academic and professional circles.
The two-day workshop aimed to equip participants
with the skills and knowledge required to write high-quality academic articles
that meet Scopus standards. The sessions included strategies for selecting
impactful research topics, structuring articles, and navigating the submission
process for international journals.
In her presentation, Prof. Shafinar Ismail
emphasized the importance of publishing in reputable journals to enhance global
visibility and contribute to the body of knowledge. “Publishing in
Scopus-indexed journals not only elevates individual academic careers but also
strengthens the institution's reputation on a global scale,” she remarked.
Prof. Murniati Mukhlisin complemented the workshop
with practical insights on improving article quality, addressing common
pitfalls, and aligning research with global academic trends.
Participants praised the workshop for its
interactive approach, practical guidance, and valuable insights from the
speakers. The event concluded with a commitment from Universitas Cendikia
Abditama and IAEB to continue supporting initiatives that empower researchers
and academics to excel in international publishing.
