Community Service; Knowledge Transfer Sharing Session & Visiting Lecturer with UiTM Melaka Lecturers and Students

Lecturers of the International Association of Economics & Business (IAEB) Indonesia carry out a Knowledge Transfer Sharing Session & Community Service for three days (12 to 14 May 2024). The program starts with a sharing session for UITM students and community service internationally at UMKM, such as JNE, Café Tenank, and Galery Ulos Sianipar. This activity was organized by the UMN Al Washliyah Service and Innovation Institute, the International Association of Economics & Business (IAEB) Indonesia in collaboration with UiTM Melaka, UIN Syekh Ali Hasan Ahmad Addary Padangsidimpuan UINSU, Medan Area University, POLMED, Pancabudi.


This activity was attended by lecturers and students who are members of the International Association of Economics & Business (IAEB), both IAEB Regional Indonesia and IAEB Regional Malaysia. UMN Al-Washliyah lecturers were present to give presentations, such as Dewi Nurmala, SS, M.Hum (Dean of the Faculty of Letters UMN Al-Washliyah), Asnarni Lubis, S.Pd., M.Pd (Secretary of LPIM UMN Al-Washliyah), Cita Ayni Putri Silalahi, SE.I., M.E.I (Head of Sharia Business Management Study Program), apart from that, was also present to present about MSME taxes, Mohd. Idris Dalimunthe and Ikbar Pratama, Ph.D (FEB Medan Area University). Dean of the UMN Faculty of Letters, Al-Washliyah, in his presentation entitled "Challenges and opportunities for the Tourism Industry," explained the importance of innovation, one of which is digitalization, digital technology changing how the tourism industry is marketed and run. Dr Supar Wasesa, SE., MM, as chairman of IAEB Indonesia, welcomed this Knowledge Transfer Sharing Session & Community Service activity and hoped that it would remain sustainable and alternate between each university in Indonesia and Malaysia as well as countries that are members of the IAEB, such as Morocco and Oman.
