International Seminar with Professor Dr M Kabir Hassan at UiTM Melaka on 07 December 2023 with the topic "A BIBLIOMETRIC REVIEW OF THE WAQF LITERATURE"

Association of Economics & Business (IAEB) successfully held an
International Seminar at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Melaka on 7 December
2023. This seminar presented Professor Dr. M Kabir Hassan, a leading Islamic
economics and finance expert, as the keynote speaker.
With the topic "A Bibliometric Review of the Waqf
Literature," Professor Dr. M Kabir Hassan provides in-depth insights into
the development and contribution of waqf literature in Islamic economics and
finance research. In his presentation, Dr. Hassan discusses bibliometric
analysis covering various publications, research trends, and collaboration
networks between researchers in waqf studies.
This seminar attracted the attention of academics,
researchers, and practitioners from various institutions and countries, who
were eager to expand their understanding of waqf and its potential for economic
development. Dr. Hassan highlighted the importance of waqf as a social,
financial instrument that can support sustainable development and improve
community welfare.
In his speech, representatives from IAEB expressed their
pride in the collaboration with UiTM Melaka and the success of this event. He
also emphasized that this seminar is part of the IAEB's commitment to continue
